The Masters Qualifying Program (Business and Law) offers a quality pathway to selected Deakin University postgraduate programs in Business and Law. The emphasis is on developing the skills necessary for success at postgraduate level. The MQP is taught by Deakin College and Deakin University’s English Language Institute (DUELI).

This pre-master program is a non-award program designed for international students whose academic qualifications and/or English proficiency levels are marginally below the entry requirements for coursework masters programs.

- Mathematics is a prerequisite for students desiring to pursue a diploma in engineering.

- Completion of three year post secondary study qualification.
- IELTS score of 6 or above.
