About The University of Sydney

The University of Sydney is an open research university that was founded in 1850 and is regarded as one of the best universities in the world. Also in 1858, Queen Victoria granted it a royal charter. The university's degrees were acknowledged as being on par with those offered other universities in the United Kingdom after acquiring the Royal Charter. A few organisations were also created on the grounds, including the Guild Center for Advanced Education, Cumberland College of Health Sciences, and Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Australia's Camper Down Campus is the name of the university's main campus. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful colleges in the world and was built by Edmund Blacket in a Neo-Gothic style. The campus is home to the university's newest faculties, including those for veterinary science, social work, pharmacy, the arts, economics, and architecture.
