About University of Wollongong

The New South Wales Parliament established the University of Wollongong (UOW) in 1975, however the institution's beginnings date back to 1951. In those days, Wollongong was home to a branch of the New South Wales University of Technology. Ten years later, it changed its name to University of New South Wales Wollongong College. The university was thereafter granted independent institution status in 1975. It began by offering technical training for engineers and metallurgists, but it has since expanded to offer a wide range of courses.

The University of Western Australia includes five faculty, including Law, Business, Science, Medicine and Health, Social Sciences, Humanities, and the Arts. There are campuses in Batemans Bay, Bega, Southern Sydney, the Southern Highlands, and the Sydney Business School, which is in the middle of the city. The university opened divisions in Dubai in 1993 and UOW Shoalhaven in New South Wales South Coast in 2000, respectively. 180 nations are its partners. Additionally, these faculties contain a number of schools, including the Schools of Accounting, Economics and Finance, Physics, and Liberal Arts.
