This innovative collaborative program will give you the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to take on the exciting wealth and finance industry with confidence.
The Finance and Wealth Management program is a 4-year collaborative program offered by King's University College at Western University and Fanshawe College. Successful graduates of the program will receive a Bachelor of Arts - Finance (3 year) degree from Western University and a Business - Finance (2 year) diploma from Fanshawe College.
In addition, the educational component of the CFP® certification can be completed, as well as preparation to write the exams for Investment Funds In Canada; Canadian Securities Course and Life Licensing Qualification Program which will further enhance their career opportunities.
Students complete their course work at alternating campuses until the fourth year when they complete one semester at King's and one semester at Fanshawe. Students in the Finance and Wealth Management program may apply to participate in co-op opportunities available through Fanshawe College. This participation would extend the length of program outlined in the agreement should they opt for the additional two work terms required to complete a co-op program. Participation in the co-op program is not guaranteed. This program indicates completion of the educational component of FPSC's CFP® certification program. To be authorized to use the CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® marks, individuals must complete additional examination, experience and ethics requirements.
