Western University Articulation Agreement
Fanshawe College and Western University have developed an articulation agreement to allow qualified students to obtain both a two-year Journalism – Broadcast diploma and a four-year Bachelor of Arts honours degree with a major in Media, Information and Technoculture (MIT). Students who meet the requirements of the agreement can apply to transfer directly into the third year of the MIT program, and complete both credentials in four years. The program will prepare students for a career and employment in private and public broadcasting including radio and television news gathering services as Newscasters, On-Air Reporters, News Editors, News Writers, Sportscasters, Researchers, Current Affairs Producers and News Directors.
