The Sustainable Construction Management Technology (SCMT) Program at Okanagan is well-known. It has its headquarters at the Jim Pattison Centre of Excellence on the Penticton Campus. Students that participate in this programme learn about green technologies and sustainable building practises. Sustainability is one of Okanagan College's fundamental principles. 2015 saw the Jim Pattison Center of Excellence get LEED Platinum certification.
