When François Florent founded the Cours Florent in 1967, his vision was to create a unique and innovative programs focusing on each individual student. The goal is to allow them to nuture and develop acting skills in our drama school.

Today, Director Frédéric Montfort upholds this same vision for the Cours Florent.

Our school of theater offers artistic and multidisciplinary programs focusing not only on acting but also staging, music, and dance.

Each actor is unique, which is why we make a point in adapting our acting programs to the needs of each and every of our students.

The list of our alumni is as long as it is impressive. From Isabelle Adjani to Gad Elmaleh, from Daniel Auteuil, Denis Podalydès, Isabelle Carré, Guillaume Canet, Audrey Tautou, Edouard Baer to Marina Hands… They have all trained at Cours Florent.

These, as mentioned, are only indicative costs and give a fair enough idea of the average. What is important to note, however, is that the bigger the city, the higher the cost of living! For instance, rentals in Paris are almost twice as much as the country average at about €928 per month for a single room accommodation. Also, the other things would be more are well. The city averages at about €180 per month for basic utilities and recreation costs way more – after all there is so much to see and do in a city like Paris.
