Climate Change Management & Engineering Dual course

As a Climate Change Manager you work for companies, authorities, municipalities, counties, in politics or for NGOs. They identify starting points for sustainable climate protection. They initiate and manage innovative climate protection projects and ensure that all stakeholders involved are networked.

Course of study:

In the course of their studies, the students initially acquire basic knowledge in the field of engineering and economics. With these basics you can understand and describe your environment (at the practice partner).

In the second section, the students get to know ways of identifying climate protection goals and naming them in their own sphere of activity (at the practice partner). With law, you will learn the framework conditions for your options for action and, with the basics of psychology, understand patterns of communication and the interaction of various communication partners.

In the last section of the course, you will deepen your knowledge of climate-relevant opportunities for influence with options that are specifically tailored to the practice partner. At the end of the course, a project proposal with goals relevant to climate protection must be worked out, which is then submitted to the practical partner for decision.
