Advanced Diploma in Building Services Engineering at MCAST

This course offers learners a pathway into the building services engineering industry. They will be able to offer support in areas such as design, systems installation and facilities management. Training is provided in a wide range of building services systems in both the Mechanical and the Electrical fields. The theme of energy conservation and environmental impact are two themes that cut across most study units in this programme of study. This enables learners to carry out duties at a technical level. Qualified technicians are
continuously required in building services design and installation companies, to work on new installations or to refit, carry out maintenance or servicing on existing installations in order to upgrade them to the requirements of new regulations. This course includes training both in College-based industrial workshops as well as in industry-based apprenticeship, providing learners with a holistic training in the sector.
