Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation offers a blend of theory and practice as you explore the sport and health-related issues which can impact sport performance.

Why Sports therapy and Recreation?

This programme will develop the key academic and practical knowledge graduates will require to enter this contemporary and emerging field of work where the graduate opportunities are extensive.

You will be joining a successful School with a longstanding reputation for delivering sport-related courses in Kent.  As well as being able to utilise the existing provisions as part of the sport-related offer at Christ Church, from 2020 students will benefit from state-of-the-art laboratories in a new multi-million pound facility currently being built on campus. The new facility will also house the newly established Kent and Medway Medical School.

What will i study?

The course will provide extensive practical experience to complement detailed academic knowledge.  Initially students will explore functional anatomy and physiology, followed by concepts applied to issues aligned with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with injury, and complications with disease.  Placement work will allow for students to provide real service to the community, and ensure that graduates are suitably skilled for work in this field.
