With the rapid inception of new technologies and channels, and changes in consumer behaviours and perceptions, the industry needs new thinking. Created in close consultation with senior marketing professionals and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), our MSc Advertising and Marketing Communications degree will prepare you for the dynamic world of marketing communications, equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to make your mark.

Through contemporary case studies and applied projects, you will be introduced to the principles of communications, marketing and consumer behaviour and develop a comprehensive knowledge of advertising and communications theory and management in global settings. In your third semester, you will choose an experiential project. With the opportunity to use your skills in a real-world setting, you can choose from completing a consultancy experience project, an internship experience project, or a business research project.

This course is aimed at students from a range of backgrounds who don't necessarily have a background in marketing or advertising. Nottingham Trent University Admission Procedure 

  • Application: The UG applications are accepted through ‘Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS)’ and PG applications through the ‘NTU applicant portal’.
  • Application fee: One needs to pay £13 for 1 UG course and £24 for multiple UG courses.
  • Application deadlines: For UG students the last date to apply is June 30, 2019. The PG programs don’t have any official deadline, however, it is better to apply one month prior to course start date.
  • General requirements: Completed application form, academic transcripts, and English proficiency tests.
  • Additional requirements: Birth certificate, passport copy, LOR.

English Proficiency Test: Majority of the courses require IELTS score ranging between 6.0 and 6.0 for entry. However, other equivalent English test scores are also acceptable.
