The MSc in Nanoscience to Nanotechnology course enables you to understand the fundamental principles of physics and engineering with major consequences for nanotechnology.
You will develop knowledge around how general concepts of nanoscience research are transferred into engineering applications and products.
Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), this course covers the techniques necessary for scientific investigation at extremely small dimensions, and the latest research developments in this rapidly evolving area.

Our world-class Systems and Process Engineering Centre brings together academic expertise from across the University, incorporating state-of-the-art facilities.
You will study a range of subjects from the latest semiconductor fabrication technology through to biological and medical applications. Over the course of your studies, a strong emphasis will be on characterisation and control of materials at the nanoscale.
Facilities within the Centre for Nanohealth at Swansea will support your work. This is home to a state-of-the-art nanotechnology laboratory suite and cutting-edge fabrication and characterisation facilities.
The College of Engineering has an international community of over 500 postgraduate students and 120 research staff.
