You're also encouraged to engage with London's pioneering cultural and media scene, with its many festivals, exhibitions, installations, conferences and workshops.
Our MA in Media and Creative Cultures is the result of several years of research in the fast-developing field of media and creativity. With roots in cultural studies, philosophy, political science, fashion studies, activism, and digital technology, the course offers a comprehensive approach to media in the modern world.
Assessment
This Master's degree uses a combination of teaching, learning and assessment methods. It is based upon an independent, though supervised, research project undertaken by the student combined with structured learning through lectures, seminars and site visits.
While a combination of traditional and innovative assessment forms is used, written assignments remain as the core format of assessments. Blogs, audio-visual presentations and site-specific tasks, however, also occupy a significant part of the assessment process.
