This practice-based course will give you a wide range of experience and a greater understanding of media production across a number of genres such as drama and documentary.
You will combine these practical elements with academic study in Multimedia Journalism, as a Joint Honours degree. This will include print, online and broadcast journalism as well as aspects of law and ethics and you will produce websites, blogs and magazines to showcase your talents.
We will support you to achieve your career and study ambitions, which is why if you complete our Employability Plus Gold programme or Changemaker Gold certificate alongside your studies and if you haven’t secured full-time employment 12 months after graduating* we will secure a three – six month paid internship for you, or support you into postgraduate study.
Course Details
Our Media Production and Multimedia Journalism course will help you to become a multi-faceted media professional, comfortable with contemporary production skills and processes, and with a working knowledge of industry practices. You will be able think creatively and critically, developing vital skills for journalistic media production in a world where communication technologies play an increasingly central role.
Joint honours degrees allow you to study two subjects. You can study them both equally, or focus on one more than the other, creating a major/minor split.

Basic Admission Requirements
- Certified transcripts of high school/college/university
