This course aims to broaden your knowledge and understanding of a range of aspects of civil engineering management practice and their limitations such as risk analysis. In addition, you will develop your management skills related to working within the construction profession in particular critically analysing management and business practices applied to the field of Civil Engineering

This module examines methods and techniques available for the analysis and evaluation of current processes that can support the management of infrastructure projects throughout their life-cycle. The module will investigate policy making and planning of transportation infrastructure, impact of infrastructure on climate change and how innovative use of technology may improve the operation and effectiveness of existing infrastructure
