University of York English Language Requirment
The following tests are accepted for entry into degree-level courses:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (Academic and Online)
- PTE Academic and PTE Academic Online
- Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
- Cambridge Proficiency (CPE)
- TOEFL IBT (internet based and special home edition) (TOEFL MyBest score is not acceptable for meeting the English language requirement)
- Trinity ISE
- Duolingo (except for Hull York Medical School courses)
- LanguageCert SELT
- LanguageCert International ESOL
- Kaplan International Tools for English (KITE)

| TOEFL | 87 overall, with a minimum of 21 in Listening, 21 in Reading, 21 in Speaking, 21 in Writing |
