Azusa Pacific University English Language Requirment
Azusa Pacific University (APU) requires international students who do not have English as their primary language to demonstrate proficiency in the English language by submitting scores from one of the following English proficiency tests:
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 80 (internet-based test) or 550 (paper-based test).
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a minimum score of 6.5.
- Duolingo English Test with a minimum score of 105.
APU also offers an English Language Transition Program (ELTP) for students who need additional support to improve their English language skills. The ELTP provides instruction in academic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to help students prepare for university-level coursework.
