Boise State University English Language Requirment
Boise State University has English language proficiency requirements for international applicants who are not native English speakers. To demonstrate English language proficiency, applicants must achieve minimum scores on one of the following standardized English language proficiency tests:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 71 on the internet-based test (iBT)
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.0 overall band score
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum score of 50
In addition to these tests, Boise State University also accepts a number of other English language proficiency tests, as well as completion of specific English language programs or degrees from certain institutions. Applicants should check with the university's Office of Admissions for a full list of accepted tests and qualifications.
