Public Administration at Harvard University

The Master in Public Administration (M.P.A.) is a two-year program for students with professional experience who have taken graduate-level courses and may have degrees in business administration, economics, or engineering. Students develop the specialized skills and informed perspectives needed to be effective leaders in solving public problems. MPA graduates are in positions that have public impact—in government, alternative energy firms, global development banks, nongovernmental organizations, multinational financial institutions, and leading strategic consulting firms.
