Students admitted with a TOEFL iBT score between 60 and 94 or an IELTS score between 5.5 and 6.5 will take the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) placement exam. Students admitted with Duolingo scores will additionally be required to take the EAP placement examination. Depending on the results of your EAP test, you may study EAP courses concurrently with your major courses for one or two semesters. Your admission letter will state whether or not you are needed to take this exam.
