General engineering allows you to take the intro courses you need while learning about the BS degree options available at Michigan Tech. All while staying on track to meet graduation requirements. You'll have up to three semesters to make a well-informed decision about your major.

From day one, you’ll have a home in the Engineering Fundamentals Department within the College of Engineering where academic advisors and faculty are dedicated to helping students discover their passions and find the engineering major that’s the right fit.
