The public community college Orange Coast College (OCC) was established in 1947 and opened its doors in 1948. One of the best community colleges for transfers in the nation. One of the biggest and most comprehensive institutes in the nation is this one. OCC is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and a part of the Coast Community College District.
The college is located in Costa Mesa, California's Orange County. In addition to Business & Computing, Consumer & Health Sciences, Counseling Services, Kinesiology & Athletics, Literature & Languages, Mathematics & Sciences, Social & Behavioral Sciences, Technology, and Visual & Performing Arts, it is well-equipped to offer and conduct courses in a variety of subjects.
Notably, OCC also offers classes online. Additionally, OCC offers specific services for students with disabilities including counselling. Additionally, it has a children's centre, a centre for global participation, and a centre for student success on campus. In addition to this, during the year students and staff members arrange a number of lecture series, leadership initiatives, and sporting events.
