About Pepperdine University

The building of Pepperdine University, a renowned educational institution, began in February 1937. On November 21st of that same year, it began operations as George Pepperdine College. 22 teaching members, including 3 doctorate holders, and 167 students from 22 US states and two other countries began the programme. The university received accreditation from The Northwest Association seven months after it first opened. On January 1st, 1971, Pepperdine University was declared to exist. The university currently has five schools that are each focused on a different area of study. Moreover, it is Western Association of Schools and Colleges accredited (WSCUC). The university came in at number 50 in U.S. News & World Report's "Best Colleges 2020: National University Rankings."

In the United States, Pepperdine University has six campuses. The university's Malibu campus is the major campus and is situated in the Santa Monica Mountains' foothills. The West Los Angeles Graduate Campus is home to the Graziadio Business School and Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. It is close to the 405 Freeway. The 101 Freeway is not far from the Calabasas Campus, which is situated between Lost Hills Drive and Las Virgenes Road. A two-story building with a sizable parking area is on the grounds. The Encino Graduate Campus is located on the second floor of the First Financial Plaza Building, two miles from the San Diego Freeway, and contains up-to-date classrooms, study rooms, faculty offices, reference resources, and computer labs. The John Wayne Orange County Airport is not far from Irvine's Graduate Campus. Communities all around the San Francisco Bay Area are served by the Silicon Valley Campus. Across five schools, Pepperdine University provides 73 degree programmes in subjects including law, accounting, advertising, history, sciences, business, management, education, psychology, media, engineering, and philosophy, among others.
