About Saginaw Valley State University

Saginaw Valley State Institution is a public university in Michigan that was founded in 1963. Saginaw Valley State College, Saginaw Valley College, and Delta Senior University were previous names for the institution. Among Michigan's 15 open colleges, it is the most recent. The institution later started providing a four-year liberal arts course. The organisation started a campaign in 2013 called "Talent. Opportunity. Promise" with the goal of generating roughly $25 million. The Higher Learning Commission has granted the university accreditation. The university received accreditation for the master's programme in 1980. The oldest of the university's five colleges is thought to be the College of Arts and Behavioural Sciences.

The university's campus has seven residence halls for students, including First-year suites A through E, First-year suites F & G, Living Centre North, Living Centre South, University Village, Pine Grove, and Living Centre Southwest. It also has five halls and three centres. The largest aqua-thermal cooling/heating system in Michigan may be found in the university's Health and Human Services Building.
