St Johns University English Language Requirment

St. John's University requires all international applicants to demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting scores from an English language proficiency test. The minimum required scores are as follows:

• TOEFL: minimum score of 79 on the Internet-based test (iBT), or 550 on the paper-based test (PBT).
• IELTS: minimum score of 6.5 on the academic module.
• Duolingo English Test: minimum score of 105.

In addition to the above standardized tests, St. John's University may also accept scores from other English language proficiency tests such as Pearson Test of English (PTE) or Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE).

It is important to note that some programs may have higher English language proficiency requirements than the minimum scores listed above. Additionally, applicants who have completed their high school education in a country where English is the official language or who have completed a degree program in English may be exempt from submitting English language proficiency scores.

International applicants who do not meet the English language proficiency requirements may be eligible for conditional admission, which allows them to take English language courses at St. John's University's English Language Institute until they meet the required proficiency level.
