Assembly Bill 626, which resulted in the foundation of the University of California's Southern Branch, is where UCLA got its start. The University of California at Los Angeles name was chosen in 1927.

The University of California-Los Angeles' Westwood campus spans 419 acres over the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains and south into the Los Angeles basin. The university's campus has a history of fostering a sense of community thanks to its more than 1,000 clubs and student organisations. Since a student's happiness and health are crucial, the institution has established the Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center. The university provides undergraduate and graduate programmes for students from abroad. At the undergraduate level, there are more than 125 majors and 90 minors available to students. UCLA Admissions Requirements for International Students

Because of UCLA's international reputation and ranking, a huge number of students apply here. The following are the fundamental entry requirements for international students:

  • Academic transcripts from secondary school.
  • GPA of 3.4 on 4.0 (~89-90%) scale in class 12, average GPA of students is 3.9 on 4.0 (~93-100%).
