Master of Arts in Music Therapy at University of the Pacific is a graduate-level program designed for students with an undergraduate degree in music or fields related to music therapy, who seek both entry- and advanced-level training in music therapy. Choose between Stockton and San Francisco; in San Francisco we offer a hybrid format, wherein courses are offered online (asynchronously), online/remote (synchronously), hybrid (in-seat and online/remote synchronously), and in-seat (pending WASC approval).
- Two-year path for board-certified music therapists or candidates eligible to sit for the board examination.
- Three-year path plus the 6-month internship for students with an undergraduate degree in music or fields related to music therapy (e.g., psychology, special ed, etc.) who seek both entry- and advanced-level training in music therapy.
