The field offers a variety of professional opportunities in manufacturing, services, research and development, and public sector enterprises.
Industrial Engineers must have a strong desire for organization and efficiency, a continuous drive for improvement and learning, and an ability to adapt to many environments, wear many hats and interact with a diverse group of individuals. They should possess excellent communication, listening, quantitative, leadership, negotiation and time-management skills as well.
