The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers advanced studies leading to either a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has active research programs in the following areas: power electronics, power systems, electromechanics, computer engineering, control systems, electromagnetics, electro-optics, micro and nano-electronics, signal processing, communication systems, and controls.
